The Annual Meetings feature has been designed to list Parish/Town Meetings.
To add an Annual meeting, please take the following steps:
The following information should be set when posting an Annual Meeting:
| Title | This should be set with a similar name every time an Annual Meeting is posted. For example “Annual Parish Meeting”, but there is no need to include the year or any other information in the title, as these details are retrieved by other data stored with the Meeting. |
| Content | The Block Editor can be used to include details of the Meeting after it has occured, most effectively when the Meeting is held alongside another event or group of events. |
| Starts | This is the Start date and time of the Meeting |
| Ends | This is the End date and time of the Meeting |
| Venue | This should be set tot he location that the Meeting was held (this should be added in the “Venues” section of the website prior to being able to select it). |
| Documents | If Agenda and Minutes documents are generated by your Annual Meeting, or any other relevent documents that attendees should be aware of, these should be added to the list of documents in this section. |
| Featured Image | This is not currently being used in any available templates, but can be set when you post the Annual Meeting, in case a new template for Annual meetings becomes available in future updates and you choose to use it. |
The Archive Layout specifies the layout of the page that displays multiple Annual Meetings (usually in some sort of list), and providing a summary of the individual meetings in order for website visitors to choose an item to read more.
This setting can be changed in WP Admin > Annual Meetings > Settings > Archive Layout
| Default | This is the default template that will determine the layout of the page that shows a list of Annual Meetings. The Default Archive template will give the Page Title and Description (both set from the WP Admin > Annual Meetings > Settings page), and a sidebar showing firstly the most recent Annual Meeting, and then a list of previous years’ Annual Meetings. These are displaed with a link using the Title of the Annual Meeting, followed by the year that the meeting was posted to the website in brackets. |
