Transfer a Domain

If you have already registered a Domain with someone else, and want to move to to reCoded Solutions to keep things easy to manage, then within the Order section of the Client Area, you can select “Transfer a Domain”.

The easy-to-use process will check everything for you to make sure that your Domain has been prepared and will transfer successfully. There are some required steps to take before you choose to start this prcoess, which can vary depending on what type of Domain you are looking to transfer. A brief summary for the most common Domain Extensions is below:

The transfer process is different for different types of domain names (.co.uk, .com, .org etc). The Transfer Domain process through your Client Area will guide you through the process and if you haven’t completed a step in order to transfer your domain, you will be notified and told what still needs to be done in order to make a successful transfer.

You will be kept updated by email about the process as it goes through, and when it is complete and you receive your email letting you know that the domain has been transferred, it will automatically appear in your account so that you can assign a Web Hosting Package to, or to add to an existing Web Hosting package so that you can redirect visitors to your domain to your current website.
