The Job Vacanciees feature has been created in order for you to publish Job Vacancies in a standardised feature and display them in an orderly way on the website.
The following information should be set in order to get the best results on your website:
| Title | This should be set to the Job Title of the Vacancy |
| Content | The Block Editor content should be the full description of the Role, including expected Qualifications and Expectations of all aspects of the position. |
| Opens | The Date/Time of the Vacancy opening NOTE: This is NOT the Start Date that a successful applicant would be starting their position, as this would be negotiated at a later date on an individual basis. |
| Closes | The Date/Time that the Vacancy closes and no more apllications will be accepted |
| Pay | The offered Pay amount for the position NOTE: You do not need to enter currency symbols into this field (e.g. £), just the amount. |
| Pay Requency | The offered frequency of pay, possible options are: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annuall and Salary |
| Online Applications | This enables the use of an online application form, which can be generated separately |
| Online Application Form Shortcode | For maximum versatility, the use of this field will allow you to enter a shortcode for a generated Online Form as an application form, and will automatically stop showing after the closing date of the Vacancy. |
The Layouts allows you to set the look/design of the pages displaying lists & details of your posts, and can be set in WP Admin > Job Vacancies > Settings.
The Default Single Layout is a simple sidebar-style layout, with the Title and Job Description on the left of the page, and the individual details of the Vacancy, including Closing Date, Application Form (if enabled), Pay and Frequency etc. on the right.
The Default Layout for Job Vacancies is a relatively simple list of the Title, Closing Date/Time and an excerpt of the Content. The Featured image is not used for this type of listing. The Pay and Frequency are listed on this page, and the items are listed in order of Closing Date, with the most urgent being at the top of the list. NOTE: The order of these listings differs from most other listings due to the nature of the content.
