The Tenders feature has been created in order for you to list and publish Tenders in a standardised feature and display them in an orderly way on the website.
The following information should be set in order to get the best results on your website:
| Title | This should be set to the title of the Tender, no additional information is required |
| Content | The content of the Tender should be where you specify the criteria/requirement for the Tender, including expectations, terms and any other details that are appropriate to include publically for the successful execution of the Tender. |
| Starting Date | This is the intended Start date that the successful supplier for this Tender should be prepared to being their contract with the Council |
| Closing Date | This is the closing date for the tender, when further applications to tender for suppliers will end. |
| Online Submissions | This states whether you will accept Online Submissions, and will activate the ability for you to enter a Form on your Tender page for Suppliers to submit their application. |
| Online Form Shortcode | This allows you to design your own form and enter the Shortcode of the form in here for it to be used and output onto the Tender page. |
The Layouts allows you to set the look/design of the pages displaying lists & details of your posts, and can be set in WP Admin > Tenders > Settings.
The Default Single Layout is a simple layout, with the Title and Content on the left side of the page, and a sidebar on the right with the Closing Date and Form Submission (if enabled).
The Default Layout for Tenders is a relatively simple list of the Title, Closing Date/Time and an excerpt of the Content. The Featured image is not used for Tenders, and the Title is a link to the single Tender details.
